KAYLEE BOYD
PROFESSIONALLY
I am a merchandising professional with a love of retail, and a commitment to getting the right product to the right place at the right time. I have an eye for product and trend, backed by strong analytical skills. A self-taught Excel whiz, I enjoy building tools and processes to help my team handle increased workloads and use inventory more productively.
A confident communicator, I enjoy presenting and answering questions. I prefer to work in a fast paced environment, and when the going gets tough, I'm happy to pick up slack and take on new roles to help the team.
PERSONALLY
I am future oriented, genuine, open-minded, and a dedicated team member. I enjoy taking solo trips to far away places to meet new people, gain fresh perspective, and maybe most importantly to build resilience by forcing myself out of my comfort zone. I have spent time in Germany and Austria learning German and speak with conversational proficiency.
I was raised in a small family business and have an entrepreneurial outlook. Work is more to me than just a paycheck - it is a significant part of my life, both in time and mental energy, so I like to be challenged. Stress doesn't stress me out.

SALES EXPERIENCE
I was a bra fitter throughout college. I worked between 20-50 hours per week while enrolled in 15+ credit hours - and I loved it.
Bra fitting was a surprisingly rewarding and challenging job. Most women shop for bras reluctantly, frustrated with their clothes, with their bodies, uninterested in receiving help from a complete stranger in this very intimate part of their wardrobe. As a fitter, it was my job to overcome these hurdles by providing a comfortable, relaxing, and effortless shopping experience. Hundreds of fittings taught me how to approach even the least receptive customers, communicate my genuine interest in helping them, professionally lead them through the fitting, excite them about something that fits and is comfortable, and provide them with options that fit their needs.
Despite working mostly nights and weekends, I was consistently ranked highest in the department for high sales and low return rates. And I had a lot of repeat customers.
I kept records of my fittings, in order to analyze trends and gaps in our assortment for sizes and styles. This is what prompted me to go into allocation and inventory management. At the corporate level, my thoughts are still with the store associates (and Ecom team) who can only sell the inventory they have available. In-stock is all-important.
